The key focuses for the FW21 accessories collection at tentree were:
Switch all wool used before to RWS wool (Responsible Wool Standard)
Lower cost of original blends in existing styles
Build into new beanie assortments to compliment the line
Process
We were able to lower the cost of existing beanies by switching to 100% Wool yarns, as well as 100% Organic cotton yarns, by getting rid of blends. This also helps with the end of life as it is easier to recycled when not mixing synthetic and organic fibres together. Through material knit down samples, we were able to create new styles as well as replace old without compromising on the design intent.
Some newness we added to the collection were commercial ribbed beanies, with non cork branding, embroidery branded beanies, as well as some novel tree stitch fashioning in the beanies for winter.

Worked closely with technical developers creating beanies of different styles, with different weights, gauges, and tensions.
