Libri is a wooden balancing toy designed for children between the age of 8-10 years old to promote the the learnings for physics and kinetic art.
Process
Brief
Design an interactive object using natural materials for children 8-10 years old that promotes learning and patience using minimalistic styles.
INSPIRATION
Libri is inspire by the physics and principles of kinetics that allow object that do not look like they would balance be stable when stacked upon each other. This presents a sense of wonder and delight as they learn how this object works through repetition. The design of invites actions from the children that aid them to put the toy together without belittling them and still allows them to feel in control.
